2. Limited Government: The public decides how much power the government has through voting 
3. Seperation of Power: The government is separated into 3 branches which allows them to all focus on one job 
4. Checks and Balances: In place to keep one branch of the government from becoming more powerful than the others 
5. Judicial Review: Allows for the judicial branch to decide punishment for the government if they break a law. 
6. Federalism: Splitting the power into a large group and a bunch of smaller groups. 4. To promote general welfare: To ensure that the people have the opportunity to be healthy , happy, and prosperous . 

5 .Secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity: To protect freedom for now and future citizens .

6. Ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America: To make this document official for the United states of America.
