Health and Educational Effects" talks about the many ways phone addiction has effected our generation and how it might continue to effect our future generation. It consists of different research reports done centered around why phone addiction has arose in the past decade.&nbsp; The reports include psychological testing done by physiologists to look further into phone addictions and what is does to each individual and&nbsp; the ways it affects their individual day to day tasks. &nbsp;Overall the book demonstrates different ways into the habit of forming a phone addiction and therefore the cons that come with it.   </div>]]></description>

The studies in this research support the idea that male and females have a difference percentage in their phone usage. It later analyzes the results, and it shows that the age and gender towards phone addiction was significant. With this information it will help dive deeper into the concept of why phone addiction arose among high school and college students. </div>]]></description>

It talks about that teenagers  spending too much time on social media leads them to create an addiction to these dangerous past-times. Having these dangerous pastimes as in scrolling on social media can take away from teenagers building real life social interactions. The article talks about a study that was done on the human brain and analyzes why we react the way we do with social media. Lastly the article focuses on the addictive risks that come with having social media and how it has been designed to purposely grab our attention. The studies done in the article are mainly centered around mental health and in what different aspect of mental health does phone addiction play a role in. Each study shown in the article reflects the results of high school students and their comparison to their mental health and phone addiction. In the studies done they found a correlation with social media affecting  adolescents self view and interpersonal relationships through social media. Overall the article mentions that the studies done are corresponding with the adolescents family in finding solutions to reduce the mental affects of social media. </div>]]></description>

It mentions a research done on younger and older adults and measures the phone usage between both age groups. The results showed that younger adults use their phones more for texting than older adults, and within older adults it showed that they receive a few texts messages a day. Some pros that the article mentioned about phone addiction is that it you will always be able to connect to others no matter where your at and you have everything you need right in your hands. As for cons it talks about how cell phones are taking away the true meaning of forming real life interactions. </div>]]></description>

Some physical effects mentioned in the article is eye strain, text neck and hand pain, headaches, and sleep problems. Many don't tend to think that being on our phones for a significant amount of time can ruin our physical health, but this article points out that fact the more we spend on our devices, the worst these physical effects will have on us in the long run. It talks about each key factor that goes into effect and how if we continue to be addicted to our phones, we are physiologically damaging our brain, and overall health. It goes more hand and hand with the idea that if we suffer with sleep and phone addiction it will cause us to have more mental health problems.  The article also mentions that with phone addiction it can lead us to have very bad sleep disturbances that corresponds with cerebral blood flow. </div>]]></description>
