The ribs make a shield for our lungs, heart, and liver.

The blood provides your body with the oxygen and nutrients it needs.

Enzymes, or digestive juices, produced by the pancreas are secreted into the small intestine to further break down food after it has left the stomach.

The stomach secretes acid and enzymes that digest food.

The stomach muscles contract periodically, churning food to enhance digestion.

 The right side of your heart receives blood from the body and pumps it to the lungs.
