         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think UDL can help my teaching specifically because I am going to have a special education classroom. While looking through the resources I found a lot of things that I saved and can reference later on when there are students in my class who may need accomodations. Things like alternative text, flipped classroom, all of the adapted tools they talked about for fine motor, and some of the high tech examples from the Google doc. I think as someone who will most definitely have students who will need accommodations, using these UDL strategies are really essential in creating an inclusive classroom! </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teachers can use the UDL strategies listed in the folder to meet individual students needs and create a strong community. While I explored the "200 UDL Strategies" link, I found amazing ideas and activities that teachers can use that adhere to different wants and needs. For example, Choice Boards can allow students to express their answer without verbally saying it. This tool may help children who struggle with speech or have social anxiety. The 200 UDL strategies link provides strategies that cater to comprehension, engagement, sustaining effort and persistence, self-regulation, and so much more. One benefit of using UDL is that teachers can create an inclusive environment. According to the "No Tech, Low Tech, and High Tech UDL", a benefit of using UDL is that is reduces barriers for students to learn, and enhances their chance of success. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I agree with you, Tara. I found several resources that I plan on saving and using in the future. The strategies you mentioned will create an inclusive classroom.<br><br>I will be certified B-6 General Education, so I cannot directly relate to having a special education classroom. However, I think these tools will absolutely help you! Even if it is not evident that a student "needs" an accommodation, you can still incorporate these into your classroom and teaching style. <br><br></div>]]></description>
