This quotation portrays the two sides of Connie. At home, she seems very childish and innocent whereas when she is out, she is very mature and seductive. The two sides Connie mad for herself could be due to her mother expecting her to be like her perfect and neat sister. At home she is forced to be what her mother envisions for her, but when out, the real Connie comes out. The Connie that doesn't have to live up to her mothers expectations.
