Race is something that was created to divide us. There are no biological/genetic differences between races, it simply is based on the color of someone's skin. Due to this, race is a social construct and can be seen as not real. However, race plays a huge part in ones identity and community which is one reason it can be seen as real.

The physical differences between humans are real, but as stated in the video, there is no clear distinction when one race ends and another begins. What should mixed people identify as? The “one drop” rule is a direct result of racism and eugenics. Back then, the difference between the white race and all others could’ve been an ancestor 5 generation before you. There is no biological difference between a completely white person and someone who is 1% black.
