Civil rights are basic rights that every citizen has. </p><p><br/></p><p>He worked with Rosa Parks and led the Montgomery Bus Boycott to fight discrimination. It was a common practice that black people had to sit in the back of the bus. A boycott is when you refuse to use something. In the protest black citizen refused to use the bus. </p><p><br/></p><p>He helped organize the March on Washington in 1963. </p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

Martin Luther King wanted these laws to change. </p><p><br/></p><p>Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that his children would grow up in a world where they were judged by their character and not their skin color. </p><p><br/></p><p>Martin Luther King, Jr. was a leader in the Civil Right movement. </p><p><br/></p><p>He peacefully spoke out about inequality. </p><p><br/></p><p>Thanks to Martin's King hard work, President Johnson signed the Civil Rights act of 1964. </p><p><br/></p><p>He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his work with Civil Rights. </p>]]></description>
