First, let me say I am a work in progress when it comes to creating hyperdocs, that being said, the ones I have made and used have been wonderful tools in the classroom for student engagement. Being in a third grade classroom, these do require a bit of teacher support for students to use, especially at first, but the more students use them, the more autonomous they become with them. My kids have loved to ones we have used for Local Government, States and Properties of Matter, and few more. They were able to engage in the lesson, explore the content and demonstrate mastery by using the hyperdoc.

It took me a very long time to make the hyperdoc for the lesson, but I got faster by the end. I think with practice I would become good at this and the students would enjoy using them while learning. I was excited to see so many already created that are out there to use. Kindergarten students would need plenty of support early on, but after a few hyperdocs they will probably be better at using them than I will be at creating them!
