The Intolerable Acts was something that was taking rights away from the Americans and wasnt right. The Intolerable Acts were laws passed by the British parlment. The Americans believed the laws being put on them werent right so they protested them. The Intolerable Acts also was the push that led to the outbreak American Revolution in 1775. The delratiction of independence was a huge step in establishing justice, equailty, and freedom. The Decleration of Independence's main points were people have certain inalienable rights including life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, all men are created equal, and individuals have a civic duty to defend these rights for themselves and others. Someone by the name of Roger Williams advocated seperation of church and state. In this oridance land was split into townships. Each township was split into 36 lots, one lot reserved for school, four lots given to verterans, and the rest sold to public. Each township contained 36 sections. Each section was 1 square mile and could be divided into smaller lots. The Northwest Ordinance of 1787 is also something that led to the economy we have today.
