I was asked to create this simple Google Form Survey as part of that orientation. This simple survey may seem unimportant to a casual observer However, although the work itself is minimal the legacy of it will continue to be important. This survey will be given to freshmen for years to come as part of the yearly orientation and the data gathered by it will help the media specialist to identify the needs of the students and make improvements to the library collection and program to better meet those needs. Roosevelt is a newly renovated magnet STEM school which just reopened this year. It currently houses K-6 but there are plans to add grade 7 next year and grade 8 the following year. There are 10 disciplines altogether in the CTE program: automotive, baking, carpentry, cosmetology, culinary arts, electrical trades, EMT/fire safety, healthcare, HVAC, and welding. I created Genial.ly resources for each discipline. The project was to explore different career options within each discipline and then create an infographic about one career option which would become part of an eportfolio project that the students would work on throughout their four years in high school. I am proud not only of the work I put in here but also of the leagacy status of the work.
