Please write an interpretative question (regarding the text you chose to discuss in the midterm) that you would like to have as your main question in the midterm paper. The interpretive question is one-sentence question that is not factual or too general, but highlights some important theme of the literary text and allows different possible intepretations.

P.S. You can read and comment on the interpretive questions of your peers!

Then, Moses protested, but the man told him:" ‘Did I not tell you that you would never be able to bear with me patiently?" (The Cave, P.188, verse 75). So, what did the man try to teach Moses?

It is clarified in the Gospel that Jesus was in the form of a human being. He was eating food like a human being: "While they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread" (Matthew 26). Also, when he was crucified, they (WHO "THEY"?) took his clothes: "And when they had crucified him, they divided his clothes among themselves by casting lots" (Matthew 27). So, his clothes were like theirs.

Why did Jesus come in human form if he could have come in another form and everyone would believe in him?

And I want to ask you professor. Can I link the topic to what we read about the Prophet Moses and Muhammad in Surat Al-Kahf (The Cave)? For example, that the reasons for Jesus' coming in the human form are almost the same ones for the messengers.

So what was the purpose of keeping the truth that Armand belongs to a race that is "cursed with the brand of slavery" as described?
