One reason I think this is most people don’t even like fantasy, I actually used to not like fantasy until I read these books. So they just assume that since this is fantasy they won’t like it. The thing is though when I started reading it it had a lot of historical fiction and realistic fiction if you thought about it. The whole book revolves around one war that was happening, and the reason the war started was because of greed of money. That’s usually how every war starts greed. So it puts you in a real world situation. you start thinking what would I do if it were me?

Another reason I think that it should get more recognition is because in a way you can relate to the characters. They may be dragons from a imaginary world, but either way you can relate to how the characters feel during the events. Another thing is the events are something that could help you with the real world. They always stand up for what they believe in without hesitating. That’s why I think that you like these characters so much, they show themselves through the bad times and the good.

The last reason I think that the series is so underrated is because it uses different perspectives each book. There are 2 groups of five books and each book has a different perspective. I think that this is a good way to introduce the books because it shows the different ways each character are feeling, and they usually have the perspective when something is major happening for them. it shows how they dealt with it and why it was such a big deal for them. Also it shows how each character works, so instead of just reading what they are saying you know what they are really thinking or what they really want to say.
