Zinn exaggerated a whole lot about Columbus, this is because he is very against Columbus so everything that he wrote made him look awful, and things he did that were bad, Zinn writes them like they were horrendous. He definitely exaggerated what he did to the poor Native Americans. He also goes in great depth about how Columbus was a super selfish and greedy pig, and that he did not want to share a penny with his crew. He goes into extra detail about all the bad things he did, and makes no effort to put in an optimistic twist.
