J cole has a lot of lessons and messages that has hit me in places plenty of artist cant hit. one example is the song love yourz it tought me to love what i have and appreciate the blessing i have, and not to wish on thngs that are materialistic and that i will never be satisfied until i love what i have. Another example is the song "let go of my hand" he said "at times you gotta step away do some livin let time provide a new prescription givin truer vision" this inspired me to proccess things more before i react and to not take things personally especially in the moment since you might not be reacting with your mind but you may be reacting with your feelings. overall Jcole is a really consious rapper and he inspires me to reevaluate my relationships and second guess the way i think and what i know to be true

Jcole is very diverse in terms of what he wears he often wears oversized jerseys witch was very popular in the 90s and worm a lot by snoop dogg and mostly he wears teams from where he grew up in north carolina like the charolette hornets he represents north carolina a lot weather its in his music or style he wears the timberland boots a lot as well whitch is a staple of 90s hip hop as it was worn by mostly everyone in the culture. in many of his videos he wear the puffy jacket whitch is also a hip hop genre staple as the weather conditions in the east coast. jcole fashion is very 90s and it makes sense since he keep the old school rap sound in his music. Jcole would be considered a older rapper not because hes been around since the 80s but becasue his sound is not like the sound of rap now its closer to the greats like nas.
