         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Having access to health care is very beneficial to your overall health status. "Access to health care impacts:<br>Overall physical, social, and mental health status, Prevention of disease and disability, Detection and treatment of health conditions, Quality of life, Preventable death, Life expectancy," (6). This would also mean that not having access to health care will have negative impacts. The textbook mentioned, "Limited access to health care impacts people's ability to reach their full potential, negatively affecting their quality of life," (6).&nbsp;<br>A few barriers are, "Lack of availability, High cost, Lack of insurance coverage," (6).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>A friend of my mom's used to have to go to the emergency room all the time because she didn't have a job or health insurance. She had a lot of chronic health problems. Instead of being able to go to the doctors and get correct treatment, she'd just go t the emergency room to get a quick fix. This was definitely a negative thing in her life.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
