         <description><![CDATA[<div>A pulse is felt through different arteries located on the body.  The pulse refers to the pressure of the blood pushing against the wall of an artery as the heart beats and rests. The pulse is measured taking rate, rhythm, and volume. There are about 8 major pulse points on the body which includes, the temporal, carotid, brachial, radial, femoral, popliteal, dorsalis pedis and the posterior tibial. </div>]]></description>
