How to use this app:

1. Pick a target sound you want to focus on. Before you begin practicing the sound in words, phrases, sentences of stories, it is important that you can say the sound clearly in isolation.
2. If you need help teaching the correct production of a sound, simply tap on the sound card, then, when the sound turns over, simply tap the orange light bulb in the upper right corner for some quick tips on how to best teach the sound
3. Once the sound is said correctly in isolation, try adding a vowel to it to practice the sound in syllables. If the target sound is p practice saying "pie, po, paw and pe" Then practice the sound in the middle of the syllables "apo, upee, epay"
Nonsense syllables feel silly, but when practiced they can help make the transition from saying the sound in isolation to saying the sounds in words a little easier.
As you move through the app, you will be able to practice entire words and even sentences!
4. You can tap to record your students productions. Recording students responses and then playing them back allows you to keep accurate data and teaches the child to learn how to self monitor at the same time. You can chart data and figure out what areas you need to focus in on more intensely.
