I believe that the experts who say that it will become essential to software and general engineering in the future are correct in their evaluation. It's also a fascinating concept that uses many different skills that I have often excelled in.

I plan to move closer to these goals by both ensuring that I fully learn and understand the concepts and topics covered in my computer science and non-computer science classes at CU Boulder and researching and developing these skills outside of class. Just like everyone else, I want to be a competitive individual in the job market, but I would like to accomplish this by doing things that many others won't be willing or able to do.
