I used to think that Project Zero and thinking routines were concepts beyond my knowledge reach.

Now, after the workshops. the idea of thinking routines has expanded since there are different ways to explore and develop these routines with the students, having in mind their prior experiences, connections (self, others and world), classmates contributions , and others.

Now, I think it is not only interesting but challenging. They are great routines to try in class. It will contribute to develop thinking skills, motivate, stimulate creativity, and maybe, have fun with the creative answers some time our students can give.

Good morning. Realmente todavía no puedo expresarme en inglés pero lo entiendo. Antes de la rutina de pensamiento no tenía ideas de cómo trabajar el inglés en mis clases de biología pero ahora se que se puede empezar con éste tipo de actividades y con ellas aprendemos todos, es decir los estudiantes y yo. Now I think that thinking routines are a group of strategies that help students to evolve in an active way students during the learning process, in addition thinking routines not only give a variety of activities to introduce topics and contrast them with previous knowledge but also encourage the active participation in classroom, I learnt that teachers can use these thinking routines with children as well as with teenagers or adults in any topic we want to develop with them.

Antes, realmente no conocía nada sobre el Proyecto Zero, sí había escuchado algo sobre las rutinas de pensamiento, pero no las había acercado a mi práctica pedagógica, porque no sabía cómo aplicarlas en mis clases de matemáticas.
Ahora pienso que son una excelente herramienta para aprovechar en mis clases, porque permiten visibilizar el pensamiento de mis estudiantes y conocer realmente qué están pensando, qué saben, qué conocen, permite que relacionen sus saberes previos con los nuevos, permite identificar qué aprendieron de nuevo.
