han seungwoo is strong willed and confident. it wasn't easy getting to where he needed to be and to prove himself he's been defending his own principles limitlessly.
for many, honesty may sting but seungwoo's direct words come with (mainly) good intentions. especially if he's speaking with adults, he expects others to take him at his word and he will do the same.
seungwoo is clear cut and organized, a natural born leader who is good at delegating responsibilities to others.

on christmas eve, admiral han seokho was given the green light to stay by his wife's side in labor. after a tumultuous many hours, a baby boy was born. they named him han seungwoo and they promised to raise him with love and care.

1999

while on duty, han seokho passes away. upon hearing the news ahn sunhee is struck with denial and a young seungwoo can only watch in fear & confusion - still clueless about the consequences of death.

his father's older brother, seungwoo's uncle, decides to take both his mother and him in out of sheer goodwill and filial piety. despite being a known playboy, his uncle was a favorite amongst the masses to grab a seat in the national assembly.

2005

it only took six years for his uncle to rise from the ranks and become a regular member of the national assembly. it was also to be expected - after all, their family had borne many successful politicians and military generals. it was only a matter of time that han juno would continue that legacy.

because seungwoo was a rather timid child, his mother and uncle - as well as the elders around him raised him strictly. his uncle wanted the perfect successor, not a weakling who could barely speak up in class.

to seungwoo, that man was the ideal. he strived to surpass him in every thing he did, hoping that one day he would achieve the same level of political notoriety.

2010

perhaps that's when the house of cards that seungwoo built over the years had come tumbling down. a young boy showed up at the han family mansion, claiming to be the illegitimate son of han juno. juno was a married man, having been lawfully wed to his wife far longer than seungwoo had been alive - yet they never had a child due to his wife's inability to conceive. the implications of an illegitimate child were heavy but juno knew the backlash would be heavier if he simply left the child alone.

therefore he took them in and told seungwoo to help them get adjusted into high society. to seungwoo, it felt like his hard earned place was being taken by some lowly child who's name he hadn't even heard of prior. clashes between them were regular, and there were instances when seungwoo would delve into backhanded instances of sabotage. though he would never do something dire enough to hurt them.

2013

by now seungwoo had decided to follow a path of his own instead of one pre-ordained by family rules and regulations. he had grown jaded of the prospects of entering the political sphere and he valued his life enough to stay away from a permanent career in the military. thankfully, his intelligence and wit pushed him to pursue his studies in technology.

needless to say, he was ready to escape to university and eager to pave his own path.

2017-2019
