The War of 1812 happened mainly because of Britain attacking American ships when going to trade. Mostly because Britain soldiers were on American boats so they stole them back but they also took American soldiers with them on accident! This event kind of helped with opening new land in the west.</div>]]></description>

Indians were forced out of their homes and had to walk all the way to the  west on what's now known as " <strong>The Trail of Tears</strong>". Many tribes were apart of this such as Cherokee, Chickasaw, Choctaw and Creek.
