Due to his surprise attack France and Great Britain declared war on Germany in September 3, 1939. Another spark was the unfairness of the Treaty of Versailles and Japan bombing Pearl Harbor.

America was ready for change at all times and had the ability to create lethal weapons and strategies. Women gained more access to male jobs like being soldiers or nurses in the war. Around 350, 000 women joined and helped in the military. After the war women continued working as long as possible as some employers fired them soon after the war

Spies and smaller weapons were profitable in WWII as it was easier to attack the germans close at parties and celebrations as the second war was more close combat.

It caused WW1 to happen when Serbian nationalists killed the Austrian heir.

Imperialism is nations competing for colonies and resources. Competition led to tension between nations and then alliances.

Alliances are agreements between parties to work together for a common goal. Alliances made the wars lethal as a conflict between two countries meant a war between almost all nations, this led to a world war.

Militarism is having a military army and weapons.

The Treaty of Versailles formed the League of Nations, which was to be an international association whose goal was to keep peace among nations. Though this treaty left a legacy of bitterness and hatred among the German people. It left the burden of the whole war as their responsibility. Therefore they were forced to give up territory and pay reparations to the Allies.

Women were also being replaced by men in jobs. They made machines for war and provided clothing and weapons for the military. The western allies won (mostly France, Britain, and the US).
