It clearly gives you a visual of the global market, company expansion, shifting of markets, and the struggle of the global markets. This article was written in 2012 but it discusses IBM's success story and it was very eye opening to read that they projected by 2015 to have 30% of their revenue come from emerging markets.  Markets such as Africa and Asia. This is a great perspective and I believe it is important to educate ourselves on these matters even if they do not seem of immediate importance.
