Hi Class 730,
This is our first time using Padlet. We can use this platform to share ideas throughout the class so that we can look for patterns in each others work. I hope that you find it useful and that you are able to get some great ideas from your classmates!

To begin with, we picked random sampling because it is the least biassed way of surveying. We will use a random number generator to find 15 schools in each borough to survey. After the schools are picked, we will go down and survey all students of the grade. Once we have our results, we will look at the top 5 meal choices in every borough and rotate them out and in every Monday. We know students will get tired of these same 5 meals and we will do the survey every three months. yay!!

To begin with, the sampling plan should include random sampling. Using a complex computer code, there would be a random student ID generator. They should do this to 100,000 students. Afterwards, the sampling plan should go to 2 schools in every district and surveying 50 students in each school voluntary. Thirdly, the DOE should email a survey to every parent and let them take a survey regarding their children's' needs. Lastly, the results will go to the DOE and the decision will be made.

Voluntary-response sampling plan because it's the students lunch so they should choose the food they want. It's the lunch they are going to be eating so they should be able to do the survey and not complain about the food afterwards because they're the one who choose it. We will ask 5 public schools from each borough and there should be any 20 students from each grade to do the survey. In addition, there should be different race of students that will do the survey. Once all the survey are completed, it will be collect and put all the data in the computer.

To begin with we picked random selections of multi racial students could answer this so we don't get a survey with only white girls. In addition, we wanted to make a survey of random selection, about students in all boroughs getting a representation in this debate. We will get the results through email and getting the results within a 2 week span of when they were given out

Furthermore, the students that were chosen randomly will be surveyed to decide what food options will be served on meatless Mondays.

To begin with, a voluntary- response sampling plan is the best sampling method because those who care about what they eat would participate in the voting. On the other hand, people who do not eat school lunch or does not care about what they eat should not vote because they are adding irrelevant opinions to the representation. Furthermore, the information should be done by envelopes because it represents a optional task for parents and students to take. In addition, it could also be taken online and submitted. After, all the votes are collected, all the information would be collected and generated into a computer.

To end with, convenience sampling plan where every school self-administers the survey and the majority of votes for that school gets sent in. Then majority of all the votes for the schools in the city wins. This way, every school gets a vote in the survey while there isn't too many surveys to organize and check. And with every school voting, students from all backgrounds will be represented.

Our group decided to use the random sampling method, however the only kids who will get the survey are kids who eat school lunch in every school. The way this will work is that a computer will generate a random ID number of a student, then that student will receive the survey. This sampling method works the best because the answers will come from a more diverse group of students and the only people who will have a say in the menu are the people who actually eat school lunch and know it. Furthermore, there will be no bias. this will be the best sample to represent the population.

Hello my good mates. Me and my partner has decided to choose the random sampling plan. This way we can choose random kids to do the survey, so we won't be bias. We would include different race if we do the random sampling. They would be representatives for the whole kid community.

To begin with, our plan is a mix of random sampling and representatives. The population of each school district determines how many students are randomly surveyed. Each school is randomly picked. Students are randomly picked on things such as race, age, and economic backgrounds. The surveys would be computer surveys since it would be easier to sort the data.

To begin with, we would like a random sampling plan and a voluntary sampling plan because it'll be fair. The sampling will be based students from schools in all five boroughs so no one complains about not being represented. In addition, you randomly choose 5 schools from each borough and the students from those schools can volunteer to take the survey.

My partner and I decided to use a proportional representation to gain a fair show of of the population by race. Then break this down by borough. Then break that down by gender. After this we will use a random number generator to randomly pick the students from each borough, from each gender, from each race. This way we are getting students from each gender each race and borough.
