Bambrick-Santayo and Lemov list several levers to effective leadership that promotes quality instruction and culture. How do these levers connect to human resource and finance. A leader that is leveraged focuses on professional development of their staff. Human resources focuses on professional development which will need to communicate with finance to cover any cost for the development. Staff culture is another focus of a leveraged leader, however, to incorporate a positive staff culture, the school leader must communicate with human resource for quality candidates and when interviewing it would be good to incorporate questions about culture. Lastly, expanding the team into leaders will also incorporate professional development. If that requires taking classes, then the finance department will formulate paperwork for course reimbursement. Once a teacher has reached the level to add an endorsement, Human resources will be contacted to send application for additional endorsement to be added to license.
