But, he spent the majority of his time with his grandmother in Marshall County, Mississippi. He attended Chicago's Wilson Junior College before enlisting in the Air Force. After serving for 4 years, he attended the University of Southern California where he was beaten and arrested by police. Afterward, he was transferred to Chicago's Roosevelt University where he became a good leader in student politics. Forman graduated in 1957 and attended Boston College as a graduate. As time progressed, Forman became more and more involved in the Civil Rights Movement. He took trips to Little Rock to cover a school's discriminatory system and he even joined the Congress of Racial Equality in 1960. Overtime, his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement advanced which lead him to obtaining a spot in the SNCC. His organizational skills, maturity, and overall experience is what helped him get this spot and keep it. Formon spent a lot of time advocating for black individuals with the time he spent in the SNCC. They needed someone who would listen to the struggles they were facing whilst being given a way of means to fix them. Forman and other administrative office workers were the ones who helped them by giving them the necessary tools to fix things while communicating effectively. 
2. Forman was a Civil Rights Leader who was exceptional at organizing. When he worked with CORE delivering food donations he realized just how difficult it was to organize a movement or to organize anything along those lines. He used his amazing organizational skills to create help for communities while advocating for himself and his education.
Intuitive Aptitude: Forman was able to write and publish 2 books where he broke down institutionalized racism; especially within the police force, which was successful and he created these based on personal experience.
Energy Projection: Forman was capable of bringing a fierce and extremely revolutionary vision to the table and ultimately flipped the Civil Rights Movement. Forman was a positive advocate for numerous different communities while applying himself and his personal knowledge and experiences to his work.
