This interview shows an example of the difference between men and women in gossip patterns, it shows that women are much more into gossiping than men. this interview is an accurate depiction of our society where the woman seems to talk a lot more and discuss more details and dives into the topic from every concept be it social, emotional and etc... on the other hand the man who is the host has Minimum contributions to the conversation where he only asks questions and replies with small words like امممم، صح ، ياسلام، بالله؟

It shows that when he asks a question he wants the answer to be precise and her to stick to the core of the topic and not go beyond It with all the details.

The woman describes everything regarding the topic in so many details to the point where she might forget what the actual question is about.

This shows how men and women have different opinions on gossip, some studies suggest that women may engage in gossip more for relationship-building and social bonding, whereas men might use gossip to assert dominance or gain information. However, individual differences within each gender play a significant role, and it is essential not to stereotype behaviors based on gender.

We grew up and learned that women are better than men at gossiping because it depends on three factors: using a loud voice and tone of speech to attract attention and paying attention to details. In this episode, we see that the woman is the speaker and the man is the listener. Even if the man spoke, his words were very brief, unlike the woman. The comments in this video also prove to us that the men’s comments are annoyed by the woman’s excessive talk and that she was a bad choice for the episode, while the women see her as a funny person and also enjoy her talk.

Our study posits that our sample will present accurate portrayals of the communication styles of Arab women and men, encompassing the diverse and nuanced patterns within the Arab community. Additionally, drawing from our experiential insights, we anticipate that the evolving social roles of women in the Saudi community will be reflected in altered speech patterns. This conjecture implies a departure from earlier communication norms, signifying the impact of changing societal roles on linguistic expression.
