Cross-cultural communication and understanding is impossible because different languages have different words/expressions for things that are relevant to their culture/environment, that others would not understand or need.</div>]]></description>

Sapir-Whorf hypothesis says that language dictates the way one thinks and that different languages will make people think in a different way meaning that if someone doesn't speak the same language the concept maybe too broad of a term for them to fully grasp what the person is trying to express. <br><br>2. It is possible for one language to be translated into another even though its difficult. even though one language may have a different word for an object it doesn't mean that people don't think about it it just means that they don't have a word for it. </div>]]></description>
