He used to be Freeskier and alpine ski racer. Nowadays he doesn't compete, however he has a Youtube Channel where he shows his lifestyle every day.

I started watching his videos because of my girlfriend. Since November,
I follow him and I view his videos.

Every day I watch his video and I feel that I can understand more than the firsts videos. The problem is that I have become us to his pronunciation, although he has a good English level, he is not English and he doesn´t have a native accent.

From then I watch more English speaking youtubers and I understand a little bit but the tone of voice is saving in my brain!

Few weeks ago a rainy Sunday I watched a good documentary Blackfish. This documentary tells about Tillikum, a captivity killer wave who killed three trainers. 
Blackfish compare the differences when an orca is in a while life or captivity. 
This is a good documentary and I recommend you because they using real shots. And your point of view about killer waves shows will change.

I'm will be honest, I hate reading books, but I need to read a lot to improve and to learn English. I have read 2 books level B1 and a magazine.

Now that if I read a novel I fall asleep and I thought that the best option was read a books about countries. I have done and I have read about USA and UK. I choose both because there they speak in English and they are two countries that I would like to live.

With those books I have learnt about the history of both countries, about their big cities, their education, their enviroment

The other reading has been a magazine. I read this magazine in a plane when I flew to Groningen (Netherlands). In this magazine we can found interviews, little stories, reports... and more!!
The advantage of this magazine is, all pages are in English and Spanish and if you don't understand anything you can check the Spanish version.
A good report of this magazine was about El Nacional, the first culinary multi zone establishment in Barcelona. A couple foreigners tell about the experience.

While I was reading I have learned more vocabulary and I have seen that I need and I have to read more because this is another form to learn a language.

Two weeks ago I was delivering an order in Gran Via-2 (a shopping mall). It was 8:30 in the morning when an Indian man asked me:

-Sorry, where can I have breakfast?

Until 10 o'clock the supermarket and cafeterias were closed. And I answered him:

+In this shopping mall, all shops are closed until 10 o'clock, but you can go outside, you will find cafeterias there.


I could give and advice and honestly, I did it better than I would have ever thought.

In this post I'm talking about Top Gear. This is a TV show broadcast by BBC.

This TV show talks about cars, easy really? But we cannot forget that the hosts (Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond) are English and they use their sarcasm humour a lot! 

An advantage of this TV show is you can see the chapters desorganized. Another advantage is that the three hosts have diferents English accent and you can hear the differences.
The main disadvantage is the vocabulary is connect with cars and probably I won't use more words of those.

This has been the first film that I watched in English!! 

I chose this one because the actors are English and I thought that was a good beginnig for me.
The film tells the way to discover who the murder is. A young student and a prominent figure about maths work together to resolve the case.

The pronunciation in this film is not difficult althought John Hurt has a thick accent and is the most difficult to understand.

Last February I assisted to my first Racó literari . This workshop consist in to read a story and to make a round table to tell about this reading.

It tells the story of a business man want to build over the graveyard but a Shaman doesn´t want because his ancestor are resting there.

Vodoo Island is a good story because is easy to read and to understand. You don't need more than two hours to finish it.

In the Racó literari, we talked about characters, personalities and the plot of this story. Also we discussed more themes relative to the story.

A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HOW A VEGAN DIET MAKE YOUR LIFE BETTER

For the moment I don't practise Veganism or Vegetarianism but my girlfriend is vegetarian. A random weekend she proposed to watch a documentary about this lifestyle. This documentary shows the advantages of not eating meet.
In Food Matters appear different doctors proving the vegan diet. You can or can't agree with their thought but now ( I haven't change my diet) I try to eat less meet. If you are interested about this topic, I recommend you watch this documentary.

Obviously I watched in English with Spanish subtitles. This is a film about Jewish people, Nazis and Dries Riphagen the main character.

I always like all about this topic. This film tells the story of a man that cheats to Jewish people. He pass yourself off  as a good man because he can hide them in exchange for money, jewels or anything with high value.
