I am taking this class to fulfill my Early Childhood Education degree. I am looking forward to this class because in other CD classes we haven't spent as much time as I would like on infants and toddlers. I am Native American from the Gwich'in tribe, my family is from Alaska and I still have cousins who live on the reservation in Fort Yukon, I have been fortunate to spend time there getting to know family members and seeing where my grandmother grew up, my favorite part about visiting the reservation is getting to eat fresh salmon off the river, there is nothing like it. My major is Early Childhood Development and I am looking forward t o becoming a preschool teacher. For fun I love to read, hike, take care of my many plants, and bake.
