The center of my timeline is my journey into being a programmer in the future. If I have to give it a title, I would give it, "The Journey of the Future Programmer." When I was struggling with coding in the years 2013- 2016, I thought that I was not cut out for this sort of field. Doing this did not make me feel happy so I was unenthusiastic about it. Then I was being encouraged by my teachers to do my best and taught me how to code properly. The more I learned about it, the more I became enthusiastic about it. Next thing I know, I wanted to do another program when I finished one. I wanted to tackle more difficult problems. That's when I realized that this is the kind of life I want to have in the future. The most important people in my life are first and foremost, my parents. They encouraged me to do whatever I wanted, as long as it makes me happy in the end. The next would be my classmates, without them I would never have taken into consideration taking programming classes. Also they were the ones that told me about iAcademy in the first place.

The last would be my teachers in DBTC. They trained me to become a programmer and inspired me to go forward in this path. If my timeline changed where my friends never told me about iAcad, I would probably just go to STEM in DBTC. If my teachers were never there, I think I would have chosen a different path in life, maybe medical related. And if my parents did not allow me to do programming, I think my path would be business related. In the future, I expect that my path will be studying Computer Science in a university and also studying how to program games.

One of the things that I am grateful for is going to iAcademy. It may sound cliche but going here was one of the best things that happened to me. I met so many people and had so many fun memories. This school really boosted my self-confidence and helped me develop skills in programming. I'm only in the half of my time here in this school and I know I'll have more good memories to experience.

This may sound weird but I'm grateful for my gadgets. I was never a social person, I just played played games or read stuff alone. When I got my gadgets, I started going into social-networking sites. There I found people who had the same interests as me and started talking more and more with my classmates. Now, I'm slowly becoming more sociable with others and it is all because of my gadgets.

I'm grateful for the internet (like anyone would) simply because there is where I found my current interests. Searching online, Youtube, anime, all the like, I found things that I never expected I would like. I found Youtube videos that kept me entertained when I'm sad or bored, and finding different things like bands, shows and more.

During my Grade 9 and 10, we had there a retreat where we talk about our problems and such. Before that, I was feeling stressed and depressed but when we had those retreats, I had a chance to refresh my mind. That was the first time in a long while where I did not worry about anything and I really enjoyed spending time with my classmates. It gave me a chance to let out all my bottled feeling and made me felt really good.

Last but not the least is Enchanted Kingdom. Whenever I go there I always feel relaxed and happy. When I came there with my friends, we were simply just having fun. The same goes for my family. I guess there really is magic there (haha no lol).
