         Initially, whenever sculpture was mentioned, I would immediately correlate it with pale marble sculptures of naked people made by Greeks. I did not have much knowledge on sculpture and whenever I would see one in real life, I merely admired how intricate the details would be.

2. What I learned in the module about the form of sculpture as a Fine Art
         Given that I did not have much knowledge on sculpture, I did not think it would be right for me to admire such works of fine art. Though, through the module, I learned that fundamentally, these sculptures can be appreciated even by those who don't know their symbolism and such because it boils down only to how beautiful they are. I also learned that different kinds of sculptures had varied on what they emphasized on. For example, the Greek put emphasis on harmony and proportion, believing that beauty had a certain science to it. As for the Romans, despite being founded upon Greek sculpture, they utilized sculpture as propaganda thus making their sculptures more personalized by sculpting actual people instead of deities, gods, and goddesses. I also learned that sculpture, despite being inherently stationary, can be made to have movement if a sculptor is skilled enough to mold it in a way that it depicts movement. In the same way, various parts of a sculpture can be made with the same material but some parts may look heavier or weightier than the others - it all depends on how the sculptor creates the sculpture.

3.  What else I would like to learn about sculpture as a Fine Art
        I would like to be able to analyze more sculptures made by the Greeks and Romans. Being able to observe and analyze different sculptures in class was fascinating as well as educational for me. I was able to really appreciate sculpture as a fine art whenever we had these kinds of activities in class.
