In this article, the museums in United Arab Emirates (UAE) are entering a phase of maturing and modernising. The museums use a latest technology such as virtual reality, creative space, pop-up exhibitions and social justice to make people more interest in visiting the museums especially younger generation that have been exposed to the technology. Virtual reality gives opportunity for people to experience the museums in artificial world, enable them to move around it and interact with virtual features or items. Pop-up exhibitions give the museum the ability to react to current topics that concern the people in a faster time frame than normal exhibitions, and with a tighter focus.

2) There are threats and challenges faced by the museum in Malaysia. One of the challenges is lack of visitor that comes to museums in Malaysia. It is because the museum is not attractive enough to get visitor’s interest to go in and explore the museum. With the cheap price of ticket, the visitors not expecting anything magnificent and awesome in the museums. They don’t find it worth their time just to enter the museums. With the advance technology nowadays, people get bored to see unattractive museums. Besides that, maintenance management also are the challenge faced by museums. There is a high cost of maintenance and poor maintenance management approaches. Because of lack visitors come to museum, there is less income gain by the museum to keep the maintenance of the museum. This pop-up exhibitions give the museum the ability to react to current topic that concerns us all in a faster time frame rather than normal exhibitions. The next one is mobile and distributive experience. The museum experience encourage connections between a visitor and the museum itself and virtual reality provides us with another avenue to forge those connections like showcase theBlu, an underwater VR experience that allows visitors to take a six minute plunge into three different ocean environment.

2. The treats and challenges faces by the museum in Malaysia is that lack of authorities responsible in conserve and take care the heritage items. The museum also is very old and need some construction with the infrastructure without destroying the museum itself.
