         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>On Wednesday 9th October, it was a wonderful day for Education students. A day makes them achieve one of the semester goals which is math day.  We taught KG2 students from Neima kindergarten. Me and my friend Mahra we volunteer to get the students from the bus station to the event's place. Our theme was about goldilocks and the three bears story. We design the classroom matching with theme. The classroom environment looked like a forest where was the house that goldilocks enter it. I and my friends decorate the entrance of the events by using background theme colors brown and blue. As a whole class, we create a small show for goldilocks story. I was the reader and other students the characters. We decided to create a card with different background colors for the students with a list of the group names and the teacher's name while they finish from one group the teacher will punch it for them.  Me and my partner Mahra we were working in our group about sorting we made 4 activities depending on student level. We are as a teacher we make activates with a different kind of sorting for example sort by color, characters, and size. We start by introducing our self for the students and ask the students about the names. We introduced the learning concept by narrative the hock for the students,about there is one toy store in a city and suddenly earthquake happened the toy in the store have been mixed up and we ask the students to help the toy store by sorting we ask the students “did you know what does earthquake?” some students they know the meaning and some they don’t. me and my partner started to sort the toys and ask the student which shapes is this, we were doing the sorting in the wrong way students start to correct us. students start to sort the other toys without any help from us. students start to give us solution to help the toy store.</strong></div><div><strong>After students finish from helping the store we start to give the students stickers we ask the students “okay boys and girls did you know how we sort?”  as a whole group we moved to the 4 centers: in the first center it was sorting by color and on this center we connected Jean Piaget theory which is the child can learn from his own environment before we start the activity we ask the students what color can you see in the plates the students start to answer (green, orange, yellow, blue and red) we asked the student where can we find read color in the classroom? Students show us goldilocks house, Ms Sozan shirt, and stuff from the oats box. We practice in front of them after that students start to do it by themselves for 6-7 minutes.On this activity students will learn about different colors and shapes  On the second center the students are working in pairs were they are collaborating and communicating with each other, in this center the students are able to sort by sizes we give them a different pictures with a different sizes which depend to the story characters (Large for the daddy bear - medium for the mommy bear and small for the baby bear) and here we connected Bruner theory which is the child can learn by Iconic (by pictures) but we find some difficulties in this group that the student is not able to solve it quickly like we have to hold the 3 different sizes to show them the difference between the 3 pictures but at the end they did it because they are helping each other’s. students learn in  this centers about size, shapes and the three keys of words of the size (large, medium and small) we face a challenges on this activity while we show them one picture they didn’t know the different between medium and small, but if we show them the three picture they will notice the sizes.  we will work on next time by label the picture with the size. From that way students can know the different between the sizes.On the third center, they have one basket with a multiple colors of teddy bear and 4 colors of teddy bears students must sort it by color me and my partner Mahra we explain how to do it on the first step the students know what they will do on this activity, that’s mean students are understanding the meaning of sorting we ask the students who will finish first and do it on correct way they will get gift and stickers. Students learn through this activity about colors( red, blue, yellow and green)  After we finish explaining and practice the activity we come back to the carpet. As a whole group, we made them use communication and collaboration by tern to each other and ask the student to explain to each other what they learned and what does sorting means to them? Students start to talk to each other after they finish they start to discuss it with us.  We use formative assessment by ask the students if they are understanding give us thumps up if they didn’t understand give us humps down.  We use a small activity at the end of the day that we have 3 bears with different sizes (large, medium and small) on the top of the bears its written the size. There is a file with different picture cards with 3 sizes (large, medium and small) the picture is (3 chairs, 3 beds, and 3 bowls) students sort the picture card depend on the size of bears. We start to read the sizes and then we called one student to sort by showing them the 3 pictures. After finishing the activity, we gave the students gifts and asking them to stand up to punch the card on them nicks. </strong></div><div><strong>We face challenges that students didn’t know the different between medium and small unless we show them the three pictures.We will work on labeling the picture for example large chairs we will label it daddy bear so the students know that daddy is the large, small chair we label it by baby bear students will know that it is small. That’s way can improve that problem. We learned from that events that not all students absorb in the same time teacher need to repeat it more than once so the students can absorb.</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>On 9th of October we’ve had a big assessment for year 2 students which called Math day. We teach KG2 from Nema KG. Our Math day theme was about Goldilocks and the three bears story. We designed the classroom with the story theme it was like a forest which is the place in the story. They really were enjoying this activity because we were telling them who will finish first all the bears will get two stickers that’s why they were super excited about it! Students learn through this activity about colors(red, blue, yellow and green). At the end we use the communication and collaboration to give a students 1 minute to turn to each other and share their ideas in pairs and we asked them to show us thumbs up and if they don’t they will show us thumbs down, after that we had a little small activity on the board which they have to sort the characters by their sizes and all the student has participated with us and in the end we give them a small gift and they was happy at the end of the lesson. Next time we will work on labeling the pictures with size names for example the large beds will label under the picture Large. That’s way can improve that problem. We learned from that day time management and how we can work with time.  </strong></div>]]></description>
