"Lion" is set in 1986 in India, where Saroo, a five-year-old boy lives with his brothrt, sister and mother.
One day, Saroo follows his brother to a job in a train station and as he is too tired he stays in a bench. When, after a while, his brother does not return, Saroo searches him in a train thinking he is inside. He falls asleep in one compartment and wakes up when the train is already underway.
Far away from home he is taken by the police. Impossible to find or describe his family Saroo is adopted by an Australian couple.
Twenty years later during a meal with some Indian friends he remembers some things from his childhood and his friends suggest him to use Google Earth to search his town in India.
Directed by Garth Davis, the film is really heartbreaking, touching and gripping. The movie had rave-reviews all the characters are fascinating. One of the best films I have seen in years. I'd recommend you.

The film is set in a small town of Suffolk (United Kingdom) in 1959. It stars Emily Mortimer as Florence Green, a widow who decides to open a bookshop.
As the film opens Florence arrives in Hardborough and buy an old abandoned house. As her business grows she takes Christine on, a little girl, and Mr Brundish an old solitary man become her best client. With both she will have a beatiful friendship.
Mrs. Gamart, a very ambitious woman wants the old house to set up an Arts Center. She and her nephew, a member of Parliament, get to buy the house and expel Florence
Directed by Isabel Coixet the script is dramatic and moving. However for me, is the character of Christine, the little girl, who is the most poignant. I,d recommend you.

This film is set in England, where Josh O'Connor as Johnny lives in a farm with his sick father and his grandmother.
His routine and the hardness of the day to day engages him in drinking and casual sex with a young man. But one day, Gheorghe, a handsome Romanian, arrives to work temporarily in his farmer in order to help Johnny with the lamb season. He will know new emotions he has never felt before. The relationship between them changes his sense of life.
This is a surprising history of love, with a breathtaking landscape. However for me, the most poignant is how the character of Gheorghe teaches Johnny how to love. God's own country is a delightful film wich I recommend you.

One day, James meet Bob in his hallway and they made a beatiful friendship. Despite the difficulty of the vocabulary I have found it a poignant story of second chances.

The film is set in New York City, where P. Barnum is performing a show. A flashback to his childhood show us how has he lived to arrive there.
He and his father were working to a rich family and becomes friend with their daughter. Some circumstances kept both separated for years. When they meet again, they get married and have two daughters.
After losing his job he buy an American Museum and stars his show with “freak” people and a playwriter who ventures with him. The show attracks a large amount of audience.
But one day, he knows a famous singer whom he convinces to sing in America. Barnum gains aristocratic audience and stands against his performers.
When he comes back he finds his Circus on fire after a discussion betwen performers and local people. Furthermore, his wife gives him up after seing a press photo where the famous singer kisses him. Despite his depression, performers decide to help him and rebuild the Circus. He gives the control of the successful new show to the playwriter with the purpose of enjoying his family who decide to give him another
opportunity.
Directed by Michael Gracey, the plot of the film is slightly cheesy. However, for me it is worth to see for its fascinating music and choreography
