I am so excited for you guys and can't wait to meet baby Winchell guy!! 💙 😍 I know you will make the most terrific parents. I see so much joy and/or exhaustion in your future. :) There will be times it won't be easy, but I know you both will continue to be thankful and humble and amazing and pass all these traits onto your son and he will be such an amazing child who grows into an amazing adult before you know it. It happens in a blink, but then you will have eachother for support as he makes his way into the world. I so look forward to watching all this happen. Hi little dude - you are Kim and Scott’s baby meaning you automatically are popping into this world as one super cool guy. Can’t wait to watch you grow over the years. The world is your oyster. Baby Winchell, I hope you will always remember how loved you are. You come from a family of explorers; your Mommy and Daddy have crossed wide rivers, traversed deserts, and climbed the tallest mountains (both of the literal and emotional type).

But every journey they took together was just a practice for their biggest adventure of all: waiting for you. They will take you to the mountains and across the rivers, but they will also kiss your boo boos and chase away the monsters you imagine in the night. They will teach you how to swim and climb, to jump and run. But they will teach you to be brave and how to love.

Baby Winchell, I hope you know you have two of the most amazing people in the whole world as parents. And, more than that, you will have a whole group of family and friends who will be by their side to support and love you for each step of your journey. To my first born Grandson,

Well, it's February now, and you're nearly ready to make your grand entrance. So, sweet grandson, let me tell you what will happen when you get here. Prepare to be smuggled and cuddled and cooed to, And love, love, loved to pieces!

You will always be my 1st, and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Your mommy was my 1st too!

Your mom and dad have been working so hard to make sure you will have the very best life, and you're not even here yet I am so grateful they moved to Iowa so I can be closer to you and them. Just wait and see how they will love and care for you. It will be more and more every day for the rest of their lives. It's hard to believe since they already love you unimaginably.

There is more! There is a bunch of us family members that are beyond excited to meet you, care for you, and love you. Oh my gosh, there are many friends of mommy and daddy that are looking forward to your arrival too! You are surrounded by so many people who already care for and love you

What will you be like? Who will you be? Borrow a little from mommy and a little from daddy but most of all, I know you will be you. I can say with some certainty you will be independent. I am pretty sure you will be considerate and loving, intelligent and thoughtful, creative and articulate. I know these things because that's what mommy and daddy will be showing you. Most of all, you will be you.

I look forward to our time together. The warm snuggles, the bedtime stories, the games we will play, the birthdays and holidays we will share, and all of your "firsts". I look forward to every minute with you my precious grandchild. Your entire life lays ahead of you. A blank canvas for you to paint your life on. You are not limited by what your parents teach you. Amazing as they are, and as much as you will learn from them, you will be you. And I can't wait to get to know the person you will become. My heart is full of love for you my sweet boy, and always will be.
