Women and animals have long been closely associated across literature, art, and social structures, often subjected to similar patterns of objectification and control.

This presentation explores how feminist perspectives shape attitudes toward animal rights by examining two key aspects: first, the intersection between feminist advocacy and animal liberation, highlighting their shared ethical foundations; and second, the broader structural issue of objectification, where both women and animals have historically been treated as property under patriarchal systems. Through this analysis, we can better understand the connections between gender, power, and the treatment of non-human life.
