         <description><![CDATA[<div>Another interaction I had was a child showed me how to use one of the devices. There was a big television where you could dig up fossils and then your dinosaur would come to life on another television. The children were always very excited to see their dinosaurs on the screen, moving around. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Another activity at the museum was the fossil pit. There was sand in it and using paintbrushes, the kids would "dig up" the fossil. Then, they could draw what they thought the dinosaur looked like based on the bones. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Towards the end, there was a room with a bunch of little tablets. On these tablets, you could color in your fish and then it would show up on a big screen. A little girl told me that mine was pretty and helped me find it on the big screen. They were very excited to see the fish that they made and other people made.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There weren't too many art activities at the aquarium. There was a booklet that children could get. Then they would get to stamp their book. If they got all the stamps, there was a prize at the end. The station had a trivia question that could be found by looking at the facts on the walls. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The children that I saw were very excited when they saw all the sea life. There were tunnels you could go into and the animals would be all around you. You could see them all and it was enjoyable to watch the kids get excited when a shark swam over their head. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There were plenty of activities that were integrating arts at Science City. My favorite one was a sand table where you could move the sand. It would show the elevation of the land at sea level. If your hand covered the water, it would make it rain and show how the land changes over time. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My favorite art experience was Science City. There were tons of things to do and even more that were not open yet. They were working on a section where you build robots. There are weekly crafts and there are even classes that are taught there. It was also only $16 per person which is a great price considering how much stuff there is to do. It makes science really interesting and I remember going there with my class when I was in 5th grade.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I took away several things. Kids are way more into things when they can make it themselves. They also like it more when they can see it and are a part of it, instead of just reading or watching a video about it. Kids really enjoy hands-on things and I think that it is important to have those kinds of activities in the classroom.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I can apply what I saw by including hands-on activities in my lesson. Kids are much more interested when they can participate in making things happen. Instead of just reading about things in science, I could come up with an activity, so they can create what they are learning about. It also gives students the chance to be creative and do things differently, so they all don't have to be doing the same thing.</div>]]></description>
