         <description><![CDATA[<p>The repository <strong>“Teaching Essential Toolkit”</strong> is a digital space designed to collect and organize, in a coherent and accessible way, the pedagogical resources developed throughout the different phases of the course <em>Didactics of English</em>.</p><p>In this repository, you will find expert presentations that provide theoretical foundations, the lesson plans designed in phase 2, a complete didactic unit created in phase 3, artificial intelligence-based activities developed in phase 5, and a deep reflection on the current role of teachers. Each resource is accompanied by a brief description that explains its usefulness and application in the classroom, allowing for clear, organized, and functional navigation.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The lesson plans developed in this phase were carefully designed to meet students’ needs and course objectives. Each plan includes the class structure, required resources, student-centered activities, and assessment criteria. These plans reflect an English teaching approach based on active methodologies, promoting participation, critical thinking, and meaningful learning.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>3. Lesson plan along with its material designed.</strong></p><p><strong>4. Topic:</strong> The verb "To Be" in affirmative, negative, and interrogative forms.</p><p><strong>Objective:</strong> By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify and use the verb "To Be" in affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences, associating them with personal pronouns.</p><p><strong>Student’s level:</strong> (MCRE) A1 (Beginner)</p><p><strong>Target skill:</strong> Oral and written comprehension and production of the verb "To Be."</p><p><strong>Target vocabulary: </strong>Personal pronouns: I, You, He, She, It, We, They.</p><p>Forms of the verb "To Be": am, is, are.</p><p>Basic vocabulary to describe themselves and others (happy, sad, tall, short, teacher, student).</p><p>Student’s age: 10 - 11 years old</p><p>Target gramar: Use of the verb "To Be" in affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences:</p><p>Affirmative: I am a student. She is happy.</p><p>Negative: I am not a student. She is not happy.</p><p>Interrogative: Am I a student? Is she happy?</p><p>7</p><p><strong>Warm-up activity:</strong></p><p>A brief activity to engage students and introduce the lesson topic</p><p><strong>Material: (mandatory)</strong></p><p>The teacher will show images of famous people or cartoons. Then, they will ask questions like "Is he a singer?" "Is she a teacher?" and students will respond with "Yes, he is" / "No, he isn’t."</p><p>Material:</p><p>Printed images</p><p>Flashcards with key words (personal pronouns and the verb "To Be").</p><p><strong>Main activities</strong></p><p>List and describe the sequence of activities that will guide students toward achieving the objective</p><p>State the pre – during -post stages</p><p><strong>Material: (mandatory)</strong></p><p>The teacher writes the verb "To Be" on the board in its three forms (am, is, are) and shows examples with images. Students repeat aloud to practice pronunciation.</p><p><strong>Material:</strong></p><p>Board with a table of the verb "To Be."</p><p>Flashcards with incomplete sentences.</p><p>Students are given flashcards with personal pronouns and different forms of the verb "To Be."</p><p>They must walk around the classroom and find their correct match (e.g., He + is).</p><p>Each student writes three sentences about themselves using am, is, are. Then, they share them with a partner, who must ask them questions using the verb "To Be."</p><p>Material:</p><p>Flashcards with key words.</p><p>Worksheets with fill-in-the-blank exercises.</p><p>8</p><p>Students draw a friend or themselves and write three sentences using the verb "To Be." Then, they present their work to the class.</p><p>Material:</p><p>Paper, colored pencils, and pencils.</p><p>Practice or Assessment</p><p>Methods or tasks used to practice and evaluate student learning during or at the end of the lesson</p><p>Material: (mandatory)</p><p>Written activity: Complete a chart with affirmative, negative, and interrogative sentences.</p><p>Oral assessment: Students are asked questions and must respond correctly using "To Be."</p><p>Material:</p><p>Worksheets with fill-in-the-blank and sentence transformation exercises.</p><p>Closure</p><p>Summarize the lesson, review key points, and ensure students have met the learning outcome</p><p>Material: (mandatory)</p><p>Review the rules of the verb "To Be" with quick questions.</p><p>Students share a sentence about themselves.</p><p>Material:</p><p>Interactive board or review flashcards.</p><p>Homework/Follow-up Activity (Optional: Assignments or activities to reinforce the lesson content)</p><p>Students will write five sentences about their family or friends using the verb "To Be."</p><p>They can add drawings to illustrate their sentences.</p><p>Material:</p><p>Homework notebook.</p>]]></description>
