I recently changed my major to Journalism, so that's what I'm studying right now, though last year I was studying Psychology. I'm currently single and I don't plan on having children as of right now. A fun fact about me is that I absolutely adore art, whether it be a painting, a drawing, a song, a film, a sculpture, or a book. I've been learning English since kindergarten, so I'd consider myself as someone who speaks the language pretty well. Greetings, Mr. Lainez. My name is Daniela Rojas and this is my project for unit 1, in which I will talk about my family. My immediate family is relatively small; there are four people in my immediate family: my mother, my father, my brother, and myself. My extended family is much larger than that, though. However, for the purpose of this video, I will only be talking about my immediate family and two of my aunts, who are kind of like mothers to me.

My mother’s name is Betih. She’s 47 years old and she works as an administrative assistant. She’s one of five children, but she’s neither the youngest nor the oldest; she’s more like the middle child. She’s a really beautiful woman with dark curly hair, and she’s very outgoing and talkative. My mother and I are very close. We enjoy going out on walks and running errands together. We are also really supportive of each other. I try to help at home as much as I can so that she can rest.

My father’s name is Luis. He’s 50 years old and he also works as an administrative assistant. He’s one of six children and he’s the oldest middle child. He’s a really tall man with a beard and he’s very confident. Despite not living together, my father and I are just as close. We love going on trips whenever we have the chance to. We see each other every weekend for my driving lessons, but we do text each other almost every day.

My brother’s name is Alix. He’s 22 years old and he’s a law student. He’s four years older than me, making me the youngest. He’s handsome and a really funny guy. We enjoy watching movies and shows together, as well as having conversations about them. We love joking around with each other all the time, which I think is quite stress relieving for both of us.

My aunt’s name is Paula. She was 42 years old when she passed away and she used to work as a bilingual secretary. She was my mother’s youngest sister. She was a very beautiful woman with short brown hair, and she was such an incredibly nice person. We used to be so close. We loved talking about the latest fashion trends and cooking recipes, as well as going shopping and eating outside.

My other aunt’s name is Lenia. She’s 49 years old and though she’s not working right now, she’s also worked as a bilingual secretary. She’s my mother’s oldest sister and she lives in Miami. She’s a very pretty woman as well as really outgoing and funny. We became so much closer when she came to Honduras last year. We often text each other to see how we’re doing, and I hope I can visit her this year.
