Week 1 (Best Planner Apps)

First week I've analysed Notion for one of the tools which can used to make a daily planner. Furthermore, I also try to access Trello and not much different with Notion.

Trello is a web-based application and application for managing work frameworks (job desk) as a team or alone. With the Trello application, everyone who is invited to the project can find out what the job desk is, who is working on it, and where your team has been working, all invited teams can find out.

The main features in the Trello application include Boards, Lists, Cards, and Menu.

1. Boards

The board is used to create a list of projects currently being worked on, complete with descriptions and various information in it. There is no limit to the number of uses of Boards in this application. Users can create as many boards as they like.

2. Cards

Cards are the most important component in Trello. This feature is useful for displaying tasks that must be done. For example, write down things that need to be done in the near future.

3. Lists

Lists are a place for Cards to be neatly arranged, according to the progress of the project being worked on. Simply put, this feature works like a workflow. Users can arrange them according to categories, for example they will be done/to do, are being done/doing, or finished/done.

While Trello's main feature is the Menu, this feature functions as a Board setting. Users can manage incoming members, filter Cards, or view the history of other members.

Benefits of Using Trello
Trello is a very flexible application because it can be used for business, office matters, or personal activities. This application helps task management become more efficient. When entering tasks in Cards, users can set deadlines for the work. When the deadline approaches, the Cards automatically change color to yellow. In the Trello application there is a checklist that makes it easier for users to find out the to do list that has been created. Simply put, this application is an electronic board containing sticky notes. Of course it is more practical because it can be carried anywhere.
The reason for choosing Trello is because it's free to log in and its functions are flexible, not only for students.

How to use the apps
1. Create an Account
To be able to use this application, users are required to create an account first. You can register manually, or use an existing Google account.
2. Create a Work Team
Click the + button located at the top right on the main Trello page. Then, select “Create Team”. Users will be asked to fill in the team name, team type, and team description. Once everything is complete, click "Continue". Then a new page will appear.
3. Create a Board
Open the team page that has been created, then click “Create a New Boards”. Don't forget to fill in your name and privacy level. Users can also set the background on Boards.
4. Make a List
How to click the "Add List" menu which is located under the name of the Boards that have been created. Create lists according to the required number in the same way.
5. Make Cards
Users just click "Add a Card" which is available in Lists. Enter a name according to the job, then save by clicking "Add Cards". Repeat this method, if you want to make more cards.

https://trello.com/home

MAP talkshow
Talking about gamifation which one of technique teaching in the class. So, gamifation is not a game but gamifation is design elements characteristics for games in non-game context. Ms Finita said there some ways to gamify our lesson
1. Digitizing quiz
2. Unlocking content
3. Setting level of difficulties
4. Giving reward or badges
Level refers to level of difficulty of a task or learning. For example, the smallest level is vocabulary, after that it rises again to sentence construction, the next level after that becomes complete sentences, and at last level it is creating paragraphs. Even though using gamification techniques in a lesson, however in this technique still apply scaffolding there.
Gamification also doesn't only use digital media, it can also use other media, for example paper there is 1 text whose paragraphs are cut into pieces, then students arrange the paragraphs correctly to form a text.
