We decided to go because we wanted to get this project done asap. Also, we haven't seen each other in a while and so we can catch up. It was funny how it all happened. My friends mom picked me and my friend Zitlhaly up. My friend ,Ivana, had a dentist appointment so we went around 2. We were just waiting for Ivana and her brother. It took a while but me and Zitlhaly were just sitting down on comfortable chairs. They came out like maybe at 3:40? We stopped by to the gas station and got a few snacks. I remembered I got vitamin water and chocolate covered almonds. From there we were on out way to the zoo. As we checked the time we saw that they closed at 5 or 6!!! Point was that we had like an hour to take pictures. Just that we wanted to explore everything. We got there and got off right away!! As we walked in there wasn't much people. It was sunny and kind of hot but there was a nice breeze. We checked the monkeys out the monkeys first. Once you walked in/by them a weird smell hit me!!! But i didn't really mind. It was the same for the other animals like the zebras and the rhinos. It had like that weird country smell. But I loved it. We were hoping to try something new to eat but they weren't selling anything outside. SO after the zoo we went to eat at canes!! It's a fast-food place and they sell chicken. We eat there and we liked the food. The fries were very soft and not too salty. The chicken wasn't greasy or anything.
