We are all constantly feeling a baseline emotion and then we only feel emotions when something changes in that. Our brain gives us emotions and physical reactions that go on with that.
One example of this is somatic markers.
Along with Phineas Gage, when his brain was damaged his emotions and reaction were not normal.

Also, how both of these things connect together and there are repeats of nature together. Another exsperience I had that taught me more about emotions is the socratic smeinars and talking about the mind and body and how both of these things connects. Also, how the mind and body coralte with eachother and are not seperate things.

Going to the botanical gardens helped me a lot in identifying particular shapes of systems and where each is located. I also have found that emotions are not separate, and Socratic seminars have helped me to identify how emotions relate to different things, like decision making. I also liked focusing on one particular topic, as it helped me to identify more of the parts of the brain. This is also related to how we feel.

I learned emotions exist as a way for our brains to connect feelings to biological phenomena. This makes our decision-making skills faster because we are able to attach a positive or negative feeling to each possible scenario which limits the time it takes us to decide which scenario is best. It also helps us empathize with others and helps us adapt our secondary responses.
