One night, she has a very inspiring dream about two women, and how they were both different from each other, but both of them were still equally important and worthy of love. After having this dream, Sulwe learns that she should love the way she looks no matter what, because everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Character Trait: Insecure

Sulwe is insecure at the beginning of the book because she does not like the color of her skin or the way she looks. She desperately wants to change the way she looks and the way other people see her.

Character Trait: Confident

Towards the end of the book, Sulwe learns that she does not have to be insecure about anything, because everyone is beautiful in their own way. After learning this, she becomes confident in herself and begins to love herself.
