My first experience at kindergarten was interesting. I was really nervous because I wanted everything to go perfect and because of the fact that I was well aware of the fact that children could not like the activities I had chosen.

However, from the very moment I entered the classroom, I really enjoyed it. Children were really happy and seemed to be completely eager to take part in the activities and games. This attitude made me feel far more comfortable.

Despite the fact that the class was quite messy, I really enjoyed it because I could appreciate the children' s positive attitude, willingness and excitement towards my proposal.

I am well aware of the fact that I have to improve many things such as the organisation and time management in order to deliver a better lesson. However, I consider that it was a memorable first experience.

My first experience at kindergarten was very nice. I didn't feel nervous but I felt anxious because I wasn't sure if the children would like our proposal. It turned out to be great and it was very rewarding when children took active participation and my classmates were of great support.

I feel I need to improve on managing time and organization when it comes , for example, the time to deliver the material.

My first lesson at kindergarten was nicer than I expected. I was quite a bit anxious and nervous because I really wanted the children to be able to enjoy themselves while learning and I was worried that they may not enjoy the things that we had planned for them. But when we entered the classroom and they were so happy to have us there teaching English to them, my fears disappeared. Even though I know that I have many things to do to be the teacher I want to become, I really enjoyed this first experience and I’m really excited to continue teaching these kids and learning with them.

I absolutely loved this lesson. I felt really confortable with the students and I think I managed the lesson the best I could. I got a lot to learn, but I really enjoyed the experience of teaching at kindergarten.

In my first class I was very nervous before class, I was afraid that the children would not want to do the activities or that they would not like it, I was afraid that I would get stuck when speaking and not know what to say, but when I entered the classroom, all nerves and fears disappeared. It was a fantastic experience, I really enjoyed the class with the children, I had a lot of fun and the children did too.

I was really happy for this class. I really enjoyed the whole process: from planning the lesson to prepare the activities and perform it.

The fact that students were really enthusiastics over the activities that I prepared made me feel glad. Learners not only took part in the lesson but they also really enjoyed every single game.

Additionally, I was able to reinforce the limits, for example, I told students to raise their hands to take part and to respect their turns while making the jigsaw, and they were able to follow my instructions perfectly, I was so proud of them! It was a rewarding experience.

Lesson 2 - June 27th
It was an interesting lesson because by being the trainee in charge I realised how children participate less when you talk to the whole group than when you are with them on the table. It was nice and fun anyways because of them. The interactions and their contributions are always good to hear even when not related to the question. I think the biggest problem in that class was that I miscalculated the time for each activity so by the end of the lesson we had a lot to do and so little time so an activity wasn’t made and yet the lesson ended too late.

To sum up, I enjoyed the lesson, had a great time and liked to interact with the kids and learnt that I had to improve my timing.

Lesson 6 - August 15th
I enjoyed the second lesson very much. It was fun to see the kids enjoying the puzzles and their will to complete them all as soon as they could. It felt great to engage them to work as a team instead of individuals and see that they took that and started to share the pieces each one had in their hands.
They were happy and enjoying the class since they liked the game and I was enjoying it too.

I think that what I expected from the students was very good. They all wanted to participate and answer when I was asking the questions. The thing that I have to take into account Is that I should've made rules of how to participate before the activity. I should also used Mr silence or make a pause on the activity if they were too enthusiastic. The task of painting was very good, they were quiet AND focused.

Children were very energetic since they had come from a long weekend and it was a little difficult to bring calm to the classroom. However, it was easy to introduce numbers because they had previous knowledge of them and they really liked the song.

During my second time as a trainee in charge I felt much more confident because we already know the students and we are able to expect some situations. It was very rewarding the way in which the kids reacted to the proposals and I felt I could enjoy the lesson this time in comparison with the first one. I still have to work on the transitions between activities and be more aware of the kids´individual behaviour.

My first lesson at kindergarten was an exciting and emotional day for me. I felt a bit nervous at first because I had never been in contact with children but then I kept calm and I could feel secure with them and with my classmates who were with me and supported me too. It is also incredibly rewarding to see the children learn with us, they transmit a lot of energy.

The story was told twice. The first time I told it I could see that the students enjoyed the story. On the second time, many of the students were distracted. Only a few students answered the questions related to the story ( questions that were designed to check if they understood the story). In general, all the pupils understood the story. I really liked telling a story in kindergarten.
