My topic is a time called an ice age. I learned that an ice age starts when there is global warming. Then, the atmosphere burns. Then there no atmosphere and all the suns rays bounce off the earth and we get no sun. It feels like every place is the north pole! An ice age lasts about 100,000 years. Last, the atmosphere comes back. The suns rays go through the atmosphere and some of the sun rays stay in the earth range. The other sun rays are strong enough to pass through the atmosphere and out of the earth range. There needs to be not too many sun rays in the earth unless it will burn. But there can not be not enough sun rays unless the days will be short and it will be cold.

My topic is Space. I learned a day on Mercury is 59 earth days (that's more than 8 earth weeks). The sun is about 865,000 miles (1,500,000 kilometers) wide. I also learned that the sun 10,000 Degrees Fahrenheit or 5,500 Degrees Celsius. Neptune is made of Ammonia, Methane and Water/Ice. The moon is sometimes called The Evening Star/ The Morning Star. The Moon is the brightest thing that we can see in the night sky. A day on Jupiter is less than 10 earth hours. Ceres was the largest Asteroid but it was large enough to push itself to form a circular form to form a dwarf planet. Pluto was named after the Disney character Pluto because there is a white spot on Pluto that is shaped like the Disney character Pluto. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is a hurricane that has been lasting for over 300 years. Our galaxy is called the Milky Way and it was named that because the Greeks thought that it was made out of drops of milk. Saturn had 62 moons but every year it keeps getting more and more moons. All the outer four planets (also known as the Gas Giants) have rings. Mars is red because of iron, lots of iron. Earth is the only planet known to have life.

Today I learned about the different planets, and facts about the solar system... here are some notes

The Sun Was created by the solar system rotating making a hot small sun

The Earth Was the 3rd planet created in the milky way, and an active planet that is always changing from orbit. 75% of its surface is water with the other land

An Asteroid belt is located millions of miles away from the earth, millions of rocky asteroids are located there dangerous and furious.

Neptune has wind gusts that fly at over 1200 mph

Pluto orbits 4 and ½ billion miles away from the sun making it really cold, It is a dwarf planet meaning a non-developed planet and as the name is said it is smaller than different normal planets

Venus is a near twin of earth at the same mass, size and density. A green gas produces heat and the ground level reaches a farenhight of 900.* c

A barren planet, Mars includes red soliam, and a depth greater than the Grand Canyon! It also has polar ice at the surface

Jupiter can hold 1300 Earths! It the 4th farthest planet from the sun that contains millions of chemical gas

Uranus is a unique planet because it rotates on its side from the sun. It is the 2nd farthest planet from the sun. it too has rings icey and strong. Uranus has at least 27 moons owned on its surface today

Page 2….

The Whole Solar system includes 100 to 200 Billion Galaxies including 8 planets within these different types of Galaxies, or the planets that we know…

We call the Solar System The “Solar System” because everything in it is centered around the sun and “Solar” means something to do with the sun.

The Earth Is almost 93M miles away from the sun although the Earth still gets Warm!
That's why it looks too small even though it’s the farthest in the whole solar system.
If the sun was a jar it could fit Millions of earths inside of it! The Sun takes up almost 96% of the whole Solar System even larger than all of the planets combined.
