I think that the conflict between the U.S. government and Nez Perce will escalate and they will have some kind of fight or miniature war. I think the author will develop this by Clif hangers and descriptive writing that might get just a little detailed.

How I think the author will develop this is the us government finding this tribe and telling them if she doesn't sign this treaty then she get hurt. In the story "Thunder Rolling In The Mountains" I think Conflict is gonna spark because Sound of Running Feet shot the lady's pan used for gold and I think that was a warning. I think Conflict is gonna start and there is gonna be fighting because settlers were trespassing on tribal property and taking land and panting for gold. I think the Author is gonna develop conflict well and I think this will turn into a very big conflict due to white people/Settlers trespassing on tribal property which I think will cause conflict. (I really think Native tribes should have just let White settlers settle on some of their land because right now they are being greedy.)

In chapter 1 since Jason Upright, and Sound Of Running Feet had a disagreement and she shot the pan the Jason's wife was panning with. So I think in the story Jason Upright will tell more white settlers about what happened so they soon could do something about it, because like he said he has friends. On the other hand I think Sound Of Running Feet will go on like nothing happened, but she'll pick up clues upon the way of what Jason is doing. I think the author will develop the conflict even farther by them having a "HUGE" fight throughout the chapters with Sound Of Running Feet and her family VS Jason Upright with his friends.

Based on chapter 1, I think that the conflict will be that Sound of Running Feet and her tribe will come across more settlers and that she might have to go on a mission to prevent any crazy war to protect her tribe. I think the author would make this happen by having them go back to their set up and on the way, see more cut down aspen trees, more cabins, and even more settlers searching for gold. This could lead to her telling the tribe about it or trying to handle it herself, both might cause conflict, but we will see.

I think after what happened with the pan I think Jason Upright will break into their land with his "friends" and it's gonna start this huge war.I think the author will develop this conflict even farther because we heard from Jason Upright "You better not try anything I have friends" and she shot the pan I don't think Jason would like that.But they could both be plotting war the Native Americans could strike there first or the white people could strike there first.

I think based on chapter 1 another conflict will happen between the white people and Sound of Running feet. I think that the white people will not listen to Sound of Running feet's warning and stay on their land, keep searching for gold, and though Sound of Running feet gave them a warning. I think this will develop by Sound of Running feet starting to leave, then the next day/the next sun they come back and they are still looking for gold with a new pan, so Sound of Running feet get a little more frustrated.

My prediction is the settlers will notice them and tell the U.S government what Sound of Running Feet did to them. I think the author will develop a bigger conflict with the U.S government and the Nez perce would have a big argument with the settlers, so they might be in a bad situation in my prediction.

I think that the Native Americans will go over to the new settlers and tell them to go back to their land and the new settlers won't agree, they might keep paning for gold. Then that could lead into a war. Sound of Running Feet, I think, will try and shoot the pans.

I think the Indians will get there friends because he said "if you mess with us I will get some friends. SO I think he will get some friends and the Native Americans will get back to their tribe in time and tell them what's happening. I think the author will develop this conflict even farther by saying Sound Of Running Feet will say let's go then they rode their horses back to their tribe then they got their soldiers or strong people and if the Indians don't leave ten things aren't going to go well.

I think that the Native Americans will keep riding home and tell all the rest of the Native Americans that there is white people on their land, and it might start a war between the white people and Native American people. I also think that Jason Upright will not be happy about this and bring other white people to the Native American land to protest. I think that the author might have said that Sound of running feet shot the pan a women was holding as a sign to say ''get out!'' or like ''beware!'' so that is what I think the author did.

My predictions are that I think that Sound Of Running Feet will go back to her tribe camp and get their leader to come and get them off their land. If they do not leave then I think that they will find the cabin again and destroy the cabin and fight them or make a deal if they give them gold they can stay or stop cutting down trees maybe they will let them stay. I think that the author will Get all of the government and all of the people involved in the conflict in the fight also what the Nez Perce think about them being on their land is they do not like it and want to get them off.

Based on the events in chapter one I know that the conflict was that when sound of running feet shot the pan she warning Jason that this wasn't over. And she was still mad that the cut down the Aspen trees and made them into cabains. And I thing that Sound of running feet is going to keep going on there mission and there could be more fight's along the way.

I think that the man that was panning for gold is going to cause more problems to the Nez Perce and they are going to get into a bad situation. I think that the white people are going to cause trouble like attacking them or coming into their territory. I think that Sound of Running feet and her friends are going to go back to their village and tell the chief aka Sound of Running feet's father and tell them that there are white people in the woods and a Native American boy with them that we kicked him out of the troop. All in all, I think that is what is going to happen next in the book called ''Sound of Running feet.''

In thunder rolling in the mountains I think that James upright and his friends will invade Nez Perce camp and end chief Joseph and burn Nez Perce camp and all there resources. but then Sound of Running Feet will meet other Nez Perce sruviers then they will end James upright his friends.The James upright friend who is inocent then Sound of Running Feet will end him then she will get kicked out of the tribe the end.

I think the conflict would be that the settlers will keep getting gold then Sound of Running Feet will start a war with the white settlers. I also think there will be a big storm on the mountains and that is where the war will take place, then the settlers will keep using there reasorces during the war. When they use their reasorces Sound of Running Feet will grow mad and will start using her rifle. Then when she uses the rifle the white settlers will make more cabins and hide on them. I also think the author will be started by the settlers using the Nez Perce reasorses and then Sound of Running Feet grows anger and then attacks. My prediction is that Sound of Running Feet, and Jason Upright will argue about the Nez Perce having too much land. Jason Upright might get very mad and might try to figure out a plan to get more land too. This will probably cause more trauma and conflict for the Nez Perce and the White People. I think that the author will begin to develop a very big conflict that the Nez Perce might have to give some land to the White people, that doesn't have a lot of land.

I think that it would be a super bad thunder storm. And If there is a thunder storm then they would have to find a place to be safe or not exposed to outside.
