I’ve known Sue for a few years now, she coached me in college and I’ve volunteered as a coach with her. She’s an awesome person inside and out who has high expectations for everyone but is willing to help each person meet those. The world could use more people like Sue. I’m glad she was my coach and friend.

There's so much I could write about Sue! She was the best coach I've had and I'm grateful for the time I had on the team. She helped me to realize that I could be an announcer by giving me an opportunity to do so at my first Showtime and I'm so grateful that Sue invites me back every year. Sue is a perfect example of what it means to hold class, dedication, and hard work, all while having fun. Congratulations, Sue! No one is more deserving of this honor and I'm glad you finally get the chance to be celebrated! Go Dawgs!

Sue, a huge congratulations to you!!! You deserve this so much! To this day, I rave about my experience with you as my coach on Point’s cheer team. Your love and dedication to us has been something I always hold close to me 🫶🏼 those are years of my life where I learned to push myself more than I ever thought I could, I met lifelong UWSP cheer fam, & of course the love of my life! I will be forever grateful to you for all of the experiences I had during those years. You aren’t just a coach, but you cared for all of us so much deeper, like your own kids. Where to begin… Sue was not just a coach, but my mom away from home for 5 years at UW-Stevens Point. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for the opportunities she opened up for me not only as an athlete, but as a person as well. From long nights talking after practices about upcoming competitions to allowing me to stay in her guest bedroom when my sister passed away and I was hours from my family. She was a true friend through it all. Thank you for everything Sue, and congratulations 💜💛

Sue, congratulations on your induction into the LHS Athletics Hall of Fame! I can’t think of anyone more deserving, and my heart is so full seeing you recognized for the incredible impact you’ve made.

When I look back on the time I had working for you, what stands out most isn’t just the skills you taught, but the way you made people feel. You had this incredible ability to bring everyone together and gave everyone a place where they felt they belonged, and mattered. You didn’t just build teams, you built friendships and lifelong connections. You didn’t just coach athletes, you helped shape the people they were becoming.

As a coach I’ve always admired how you saw potential in others before they saw it in themselves. You believed in your teams, and in turn, you taught them to believe in themselves. That kind of gift changes lives, and there are so many who now carry your lessons on with them to this day.

Sue, I have such profound respect for you not only as a coach, but as a person. The strength, kindness, and passion you poured into everything you did left an imprint on so many lives. This honor is just a reflection of the truth we’ve always known: you are one of a kind, and your legacy will live on in the athletes and people you’ve inspired.

I’m so grateful to have been a part of CWCC, to have worked with and for you, and even more grateful to know you. Congratulations again you truly deserve this moment.
