College try to ensure that all of us are here everyday when we are supposed to be. To do this they are always chasing you up about where you’ve been and what is the reason, also we get a message every morning reminding us that we have college on that day.

Professional 

In college, they help us show professionalism by treating us like adults so we supposedly act like adults and when we are in class we have to behave like we would in the workplace so no phones out as if you did that in the workplace you would probably be fires fired, also you have to show up on time like you should in the workplace, making us more independent. Professional skills can be developed in a business by taking lead, manage your own finances, presentations, dealing with challenges, observe someone else who is professional and learn, act as a team player, needing to be confident, problem solving.

Punctuality:
College try to ensure students are on time to lessons by constantly reminding you of when you need to return to class as well as taking a register so if you are late it is recorded which affects your overall attendance. 

Time management is important as you can priotise the task throughout the day, you’ll be ready for the day and not feel rushed, reduced stress.  If you arrive late then it shows a bad reputation on you and employees wouldn’t want you to be late.

Demographic changes – In our tutorial lesson we learn about what the average age is for death, and the dependency ratios are. We also learn the usual life expectancy and family structures. They also tell about birth rates in Europe or a certain country

Business Fundamentals – Some business fundamentals include debt, cash flow, supply of and demand for the company’s products.

This is important because it shows that you are nice and it shows you listen and it shows that you are courteous. Respect also teaches you the value of patience. College does this by making up a lit of classroom rules that we all had to sign and follow.

Communication-

Knowledge of the company and wider business environment- business knowledge is important strategic asset. It is a sum of skills, experiences, capabilities and expert insight, which you collectively create and rely on in your business. As a shared resource, knowledge shapes and affects all the activities in and around your business. The external business environment consists of economic, political and legal, demographic, social, competitive, global, and technological sectors.
