Small districts can utilize CTE teachers and other departments in the district to find opportunities. We have been able to have one student work with a preschool classroom and another help with the elementary students Adapted PE course which were great experiences! I would like for my students to get off campus but making connections and travel to and from sites is a challenge. This is exactly what I needed to help evaluate students progress across the years.
